Ingredient

  • 3 medium golden delicious apples
  • 3 medium red delicious apples
  • juice from one lemon
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup craisins
  • 1/2 chopped pecans
  • 1/2 mayo

  • Prepration Steps
  • Wash apples do not peel, cut into small cubes, sprinkle with lemon juice
  • add raisins, craisins, pecans, and mayo,, serve on a bed of lettuce.

Hot and Sour Soup

Ingredients
  • Chicken Broth – 12 Cups
  • Boiled Chicken Pieces – 4 Ounces
  • Carrot cut into thin and long strips – 1
  • Cabbage thinly cut – 3 Ounces
  • Salt – 2 Tsp
  • Chinese Salt – 2 Tsp
  • White Vinegar – Half Cup
  • Black Pepper – 1 Tsp
  • Corn flour mixed with water – 3/4 Cup
  • Corn Oil – 1/2 Cup
  • Egg whites – 4
Preparation Steps
Pour chicken broth to a pan and add chicken pieces to that. Place on heat.Heat well and add all vegetables and spices.When vegetables turn a bit tender, add vinegar.Add corn flour mixture to the soup and stir well.When it gets thicken enough, add egg whites while stirring the soup with spoon.Add corn oil and remove from heat.Serve hot.

chinese chow mein

Ingredients
  • 350g packet fresh Singapore noodles
  • 2/3 cup chicken stock
  • 1/3 cup oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 500g chicken mince
  • 1 brown onion, chopped
  • 1 celery stalk, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium carrot, peeled, grated
  • 1 small red capsicum, cut into 1cm cubes
  • 1 cup frozen peas
Prepration Steps

Place noodles in a heatproof bowl. Cover with boiling water. Stand for 2 minutes or until just tender. Drain. Using a fork, separate noodles. Combine stock, oyster sauce and soy sauce in a jug.Heat a large, non-stick wok over high heat. Add oil. Swirl to coat. Add mince. Cook, stirring with a wooden spoon to break up mince, for 3 to 4 minutes or until lightly browned and cooked through.Add onion, celery, carrot, capsicum and peas. Stir-fry for 3 minutes or until vegetables are just tender. Add stock mixture and noodles. Stir-fry for 1 minute or until heated through. Serve.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 kg boneless chicken
  • 4 potatoes ( small size, boiled)
  • 2 capsicum
  • 1 onion
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1 tsp cornflour
  • oil to fry
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • salt as per taste
  • tomato ketchup
  • bamboo stick (6" long) - 8
Prepration Steps
  • Boil chicken ,Cut chicken and potatoes in 1" cube pieces (it should be 16 pieces each).Cut 24 square shape pieces of onions and capsicums.Take a bamboo stick and skewer the chicken (2 pieces) and potato (2 pieces), altering with onion and capsicum pieces.Repeat for other sticks also ,Take a bowl and mix flour, corn flour, the spices and salt.Add warm water to make a thick paste.Coat the sticks with the flour paste and deep fry in medium heat.Heat a clean frying pan and add tomato ketchup. Stir fry the sticks for a minute. Serve hotChicken Shashliks.
