Chinese Chili Chicken with Egg Fried Rice

Ingredients
  • chicken breast 2
  • peas 1 cup
  • chicken powder 1tbs
  • capsicum 1 cup
  • mushrooms 1 cup
  • soy sauce 1tbs
  • black pepper to taste
  • salt to taste
  • spring onion 8
  • olive oil as required

Preparation Steps
Start preparing by boiling the chicken and then shred it.Now saute the mushrooms lightly in a frying pan by heating oil in it.Add the capsicum, boiled peas,beaten egg,chicken powder and mix them well.Now add soy sauce,black pepper and then add boiled rice in the end.Stir fry it and when it becomes ready,dish it out and serve it.

Chocolate Brownie

Ingredients
  • 250g butter
  • 250g block of dark chocolate 
  • 200g white chocolate (broken into chunks)
  • 80g cocoa powder sifted
  • 65g plain flour
  • 1tsp baking powder
  • 350g caster sugar
  • 4 large eggs

Preparation Steps
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees
2. Line a 30cm rectangular dish with greaseproof (baking) paper
3. In a large bowl over simmering water, melt the butter and 200g of the dark chocolate (all but 2 lines of the block) and mix until smooth.
4. In a separate bowl, mix together the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder and sugar
5. Add the butter/chocolate mixture into the dry mixture
6. Beat the eggs and mix in until you have a silky consistency
7. Then add the chunks of white chocolate and the remaining 2 lines of dark chocolate into the mixture and fold gently
8. Pour brownie mix into baking tray, and bake for 25-30 minutes depending on your oven
When it's baked, you want the brownie to have formed a crust over the top, firm around the edges but still a bit soft in the middle.Makes about 20 pieces depending on how small you cut it.It's amazing heated in the microwave until gooey in the middle again and served with yoghurt or icecream.

  • 1/2 kg chicken boneless (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 Onion(small and chopped)
  • 1/2 cup plain flour
  • 1 egg
  • oil for deep frying

Preparation Steps
Add chicken pieces in a pot.then add garlic paste.black pepper,onion and salt in it.Mix well.Add this meat mixture in chopper to mince it.Put in fridge for a while.Make small nugget shapes from the meat.coat them in plain flour.crack an egg and beat it,then dip in egg and then coat in bread crumbs.heat some oil in a pan.deep fry the nuggets.Finally,serve with fries and ketchup(up to you).

Ingredients
  • 1 (16 ounce) package macaroni
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped red apple
  • 1/2 cup walnut pieces
  • (Salt and pepper)
Preparation Steps
Boil the pasta until cooked.Rinse the pasta in cold water and keep in the cold water while you prepare the other ingredients.Chop the celery and apples (and break up the walnuts if you bought them whole).Drain the water from the pasta.Mix all the remaining ingredients and season to taste

Ingredients
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons oil, divided
  • 2 cups cabbage, shredded
  • 1 carrot, shredded
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons powdered ginger
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 package of egg roll wrappers
  • Oil for frying

Preparation Steps
1. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in skillet on medium-high, saute steak till well browned.  Remove from pan. Add remaining oil and saute cabbage, carrot, and green onion.  Add seasoning and oyster sauce and combine well.  Add to meat mixture and let cool.
2. Working with one egg roll wrapper at a time place your wraps on a clean surface so that the points are up and down and left and right (should appear as a diamond, not a square).  Place 2 tablespoons of the filling onto the rolls.  Take the bottom point of your wrap and fold it over top of the filling. Fold the sides in towards the middle and roll the filling towards the top point of the wrapper.  To prevent the egg roll from unwrapping in the deep fryer you need to seal the seams, this also prevents oil from filling the inside of the egg roll.  Place some water in a small dish or bowl.  Dip your finger into the water and use this as glue to seal the top point of your wrap and any openings where you feel the wrap needs to be glued together.
3. Heat oil for frying in a large pot om high heat.  Fry egg rolls 3 to 4 minutes or until golden brown.  Serve with chili sauce of soy sauce and enjo
